WELCOME TO MOSSLANDS FARM
Mosslands Farm is a family run livery yard in Irlam, Manchester. We are a private yard with first class accommodation and excellent equestrian facilities.
We are located on the edge of Manchester in the North West of England with quiet country lanes and open fields in all directions providing a quiet, relaxing environment for your equine friend.

DIRECTIONS
We are just 15 minutes from all major motorway network links. Use Junction 12 off the M60 or Junction 21a off the M6.

OUR SERVICES
Stables
We offer purpose built brick stables 3.5 x 3.5 metres. The stables are well ventilated, fully rubber matted and all contain Paxton automatic drinkers. Each stable and tack room is individually lit with two stables sharing one tack room. All our stables have easy access to the adjoining paddocks and country lanes.
All Year Grazing (subject to weather permitting)
We have a number of grazing paddocks surrounding the main stables with post and rail fencing for each paddock and electric fencing on all perimeters. We try our best to offer independent grazing paddocks to avoid expensive vet bills if your horse gets kicked.
Brew Room
An onisite brew room is available for owners, providing a self sufficient kitchen with drink and snack making facilities along with a area for relaxing. There are free tea and coffee making facilities and we have toilets on site.
Haylage and Bedding Store
We have home grown haylage and hay facilities at the far end of our stables in the form of full size bales. Hay, straw and dust free shavings are available, opened when needed allowing you to use as much as you need for your horses comfort.
Ménage
We have full size 55m x 30m ménage with post and rail fencing. Our ménage is made from Silica sand and rubber chipping which prevents it from freezing and flooding in the winter months. The ménage is fully flood light for the dark nights and an array of jumps and fillers are also available.
Shower Room and Clipping Bay
Clients have use of the hot water shower with heat lamps for the best show preparation that is possible. After a hard work out you can wash your horse down in a hot or cold shower or use the clipping bay.
Security
Mosslands Farm is a residential working farm with the owner and staff on-site 24 hours a day. We have CCTV security and electric security gates which are locked at night to secure our fully flood-lit yard.
Trailer and Wagon Parking
All our Trailer and Wagon parking is on hard standing to prevent your Trailer or Wagon from rotting. We try to offer the highest standard of security with the owner being on site.

Our Full Livery Services is our most comprehensive service that includes care for your horse 5 or 7 days week. We ensure your horse receives daily feeding both morning and evening, weather permitting we will turn-out and bring in and we will change rugs and groom as required. Unlimited bedding and hay is included.
DIY LIVERY SERVICE
£23.50 PER WEEK
Our DIY Livery service is tailored for those who prefer to be more involved in the daily care of their horse. You can tailor the package to suit your individual needs but as standard we will feed your horse every morning, Monday to Friday and you will have full use of all of our facilities. We also provide bedding and food at competitive rates.
Everyone looks out for each other and the horses. If a horse is poorly we all come together and help.
